Arms:  Per chevron inverted enhanced Azure and Argent, a pale between two mullets of six pierced all Azure, in chief a lion rampant Argent.

Crest:  A demi lion rampant Argent armed and langued Azure grasping a mullet of six points pierced Azure.

Motto:  Negotio Utilitatis Militabat (He campaigned in a situation of advantage.)

Design Rationale:

The design takes elements from various portions of the armiger’s background, the Argent in the designs, as well as the lion rampant, reflect his historical connection to Bulgaria, the country of his birth. The Azure and mullets represent his connection to the United States and Virginia his new home.
