Design Rationale:
The oak tree on the crest represents the armigers characteristic of strength, the mullet signifies the armigers cadency as the third son. The shield shows a wild man or more specifically Silvanus (Roman god of the countryside) which is canting for the last name Silvestri (Latin: from the woods), which represents the armigers Neopolitan heritage and the armigers characteristic of honor. The armiger is a Chemist hence the closed book (Gules), hinged Or and charged of a pestle and mortar Or. It also represents the armigers characteristic of wisdom. The sprig of oak tree represents the armigers family and is fructed to represent his Daughter and Wife.
