Design Rationale:
These arms are inherited in direct line from the armiger’s 11th great grandfather, Peter Kistler, Mayor of Bern, Switzerland from 1440-1460, and President of the Bern Republic from1480-1490. As registered here they are differenced from the European families by the Bordure Gules charged with 13 unpierced mullets representing the immigration into the Philadelphia in 1737 by Johann Georg Kistler who served as an American soldier in the Revolutionary War.
