Design Rationale:
These arms were designed by the bearer with advice from several members of his heraldry associations and are recorded with The Heraldry Society of Africa.
The crest is based on that of the town of Singleton, where the Gray family is based. The Australian magpie is a highly intelligent and protective songbird. The Star in the centre of the arms is a representation of the Commonwealth Star of Australia. The Hymnal represents the Gray family's long association with music.
The motto, “Se ne mi, Kiu?” is in the language of Esperanto and translates as "If not me, then who? ".
The Bearer serves as an Advisor to H.M. the Omukuma Iguru I, Solomon Gafabusa of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom (Uganda).
