Design Rationale:
These arms are derivative from the arms of the Diocese of Oregon; blazoned as Or between three Cross Crosslets Gules, a Fess Gules thereupon three Roses Or, leaved Vert. The Grace arms changed the tinctures as well as the position of the charges, and changed the fess to a fess wavy, representing the Willamette River.
