Design Rationale:
The armiger, a Sergeant and Veteran of the Gulf War who served twelve years as Scout/Sniper, is the fourth generation to have served in U.S. Army; his service as a Scout/Sniper is represented in the shield by the red over white The stars represent the U.S. and the Wyvern represents war, being considered a sign of strength to those who bear it. The blue Wyvern is also known as a water Wyvern, a play on the armiger’s home which is surrounded by water in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.
The Crest of a Bald Eagle represents the United States of America.
