Design Rationale:

The blue shield with yellow fess and red charges is an inversion of the colors of arms associated with the armiger's paternal family name. The three mullets reference arms associated with the armiger's maternal family name. The altar bells and smoking thurible reference the armiger's preference for the Catholic "smells and bells" liturgical tradition.
